Hair Care Routine!

Hello Loves!

The one thing that is not talked about often on my blog is my hair. I have been having such an issue with my hair since the time I got it cut and it was done terribly, then I had to get it hacked off up to my shoulders (it was down to my butt) because that is how bad it was done. Needless to say, I have not been having a good hair time, not only that but I have been "shedding" my hair like crazy. From all of the hair I have lost you can make 3 more people out of it! Its insane. For the past 5+ months I have been taking care of my hair like crazy.

I was using an oil from Orofluido, but unfortunately I left that at my sisters and it was never to be seen again. Good thing I got it from Birchbox so it was a deluxe sample. Hah. Then I got the Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment from BeautyArmy and let me just say this. Oh My Gawll! That stuff is amazing! It has really changed my hair for the better! Its turned into my holy grail hair oil! (not that I have tried many)

I've also been using the Carol's Daughter Monoi Split End Mender. I can't really give you a good review on it because I have only used it twice. I figured I would include it here because I am currently using it! :)

The next thing I have been trying to figure out is my shampoo/conditioner. I know I should probably be going for a sulfate free shampoo, but I just haven't looked for one honestly. I am just kind of meh on the whole subject of it in my shampoo. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I am sure I will get around to trying one soon. I have been bouncing between shampoos trying to find one that is right for my hair and scalp. Now the one thing about my scalp is that I have dermatitis, it stinks so bad! So I have to be really careful with what shampoo/conditioner I choose. Some make it "flare" up and some don't. At this present moment I am using Clear Hair & Scalp Therapy - Total Care. (you can see my review HERE)  I love this shampoo/conditioner, it has not flared my dermatitis up at all and my scalp is not as flaky and blegh as it use to be! Wooo!

As of late I RARELY use heat on my hair. I used to have to blow dry my hair right after I washed it or my scalp went insane on me. I barely straighten it either, I just see no need in it at all. Plus my hair straightener is crap and doesn't get my hair as straight as I like it, haha. When I do happen to blow dry my hair or straighten it I make sure to use a heat protectant. I have used quite a few, even a $15 one and the best one I found it Tressame Heat Tamer Spray. It is around $4-5 and you can get it pretty much anywhere. It is amazing and probably the best out there. In my opinion at least!

So this is my current hair care routine! I am pretty happy with it at this moment and don't plan on changing it!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! <3
